The present name
Vrnjci Spa was
emerged from the origin village Vrnjci, iin which
mineral-bearing sources have been discovered. Vrnjci Spa lies in the central region of Serbia, about 200 km
south of Belgrad. Because of it's position at the base of
the mountain Goč, you can find
youreself between 200 or 300 meters above the sea level. You
can reach Vrnjačka Banja either with the country road Belgrad- Kraljevo
or with the expressway Belgrad- Niš- Skopje, leaving it at
the exit Pojate. Embeded between the two rivers Vrnjci
River and Lipova River,
Vrnjci Spa contains seven mineral-bearing sources, of
that four sources can be used for balneological therapy.
Furthermore there are a lot of cultural events, as for
example the Carnival and the Filmfestival to
metion only a few...and that's why Vrnjci Spa
is rightfully caled the Queen of Spa's... |
